“My resolution was to give Sasaki JPY10 million in exchange for 1/20 share of his corporate stock. This deal was. . . . well actually it could not be any kind of deal at all. Why? ’cause I did not get any word from Sasaki regarding the representation right of Shimizu. Not only that, what can I do anything having only 5% of his corporation who had grossed a little more than JPY100M previous year. It make me mad every time I recall that!”

Mr. Koduki did a bitter smile. He sure have sounded mad, he kicked a table right in front of him.

“He declared he has the ability that can merely be found one out of every 200 thousand people. But it is rather pity for him, he can utilize it just swindling others. Yeah, I admit that was me who was hooked for my own stupidity. I wanna cry for it.

“I remember I try to persuade myself when I give him that 10M yen. The money was from Karasawa, so I should use that money for Karasawa. It was like brain wash. Y’know that old story on Aum Shinrikyo? It could have been 10 years ago, right? I could not believe there were so many people who donated 20M, 30M just to taste some religious atmosphere and other people’s concern. When I hear that story through TV, I thought them a group of fools. Why they could not realize what they were getting was mere brain wash. Well, I say its same for me, don’t you think?

“Well, He didn’t say it straight. He issues question like, what kind of a person Mr. Karasawa is, or suggests how widely Shimizu has spread into the field, or I can use Sasaki’s connection so that I can get back previous me. He scattered those phrases here and there but didn’t say outright what he will do.”
